Chinese Art Introduction
History - Chinese painting has a long history. Dating as far back as the Warring States Period more than 2,000 year ago.
Form - Chinese painting mainly presents three techniques -
realism (depicting things or real objects as they are), freehand brushwork (not seeking the exactness of the appearance, but focusing on the inner spiritual essence), and fine brushwork (neatness and meticulousness).
I moved to Fort Collins 6 years ago.
Colorado made me fall in love with art again.
My art focuses on traditional Chinese painting. I also do all the “finishing work” by hand to make the art look like a polished product, because Chinese painting uses special paper (rice paper) which is very soft and thin.
